The story revolves rather fittingly around a mother and daughter, the enigmatic Mrs Erlynne and the Lady Windermere of the title. Unaware of their family connection, however, Lady Windermere soon becomes suspicious when her husband takes an interest in the mystery woman and in an effort to gain his attentions her thoughts to infidelity and the dapper Lord Darlington.

Oscar Wilde's famous play will be playing in the Vaudeville theatre.
